Judgmental. Just.........don't be too mental

Assalamualaikum and hello there!

Looks like I managed to update my blog consistently during this holiday. I don't even know what's wrong with me but just can't fight the urge to write here.

I am a Twitter - holic. I can't live without scrolling my TL every day. Yeah, I know I need to slow down a bit because getting so into social networks can jeopardize you in several aspects. For me, among all of million or trillion negative effects of social networks, one thing that kinda makes me scared to use my freedom in every of my accounts is judgmental.

Today I read one of the tweet with a picture of an old-man carrying a young lady on a motorcycle. Reading the comments, there were many of harsh words being said and its's not a surprising atmosphere because as all of us know, this world is full of negative people as much as the presence of positive people. At first I take a look at that picture before I read the comments, for me, its nothing, just a normal picture but then I get it, people make annoying statements because of the age gap between that man and the young lady.

I would lie to myself if I say that I never judge someone based on my first perception. No matter how familiar the phrase of 'Dont Judge  A Book By Its Cover' but its just a nature side of us, human being. Its normal. We would always judge people based on what we see without knowing the whole story. Because there's no people who simply will read the contents of the book without looking at the cover first right?

But for me, is our opinions matter? We need to examine the situation first. Some or the opinions better being kept just for us only. Something is better not to be shared. Maybe those people who left the comments about the picture just intended to joke around by saying things that kinda humiliate the couple, without they know the real story behind the picture.

The truth is, that old man is carrying the young lady because she can't walk, she is a disabled person. I really feel sad towards her when I know the truth. Because I also have a paralyzed sister and currently taking care of her. I am quite sensitive about this kinda stuff because It feels like people being too judgmental towards those who have no capabilities in certain parts.

I know everyone have their own freedom in taking picture of anyone and anything. It is out of control in our current society. There is nothing can be done unless each and everyone of us try to reflects on any actions we take. We are humans so let's show how great humans can be.

To be honest, I don't even know whether the story about this picture is true or not and I am not supposedly write anything about issues that I'm not certain of but what I am trying to say here, we need to have a high sense of sensitivity. Do not keep on humiliating everyone else and our self too. Allah created this world so that we can appreciate each other more.

Me too did too many false actions in using social networks. People makes mistakes most of the time. We are weak. That is why we always need to give reminder to each other and never condemn someone based on their past and wrong steps. Because we won't always be right.
